History
Tallowtree honey is a distinctive Southern specialty, drawn from the nectar of the Chinese tallowtree that flourishes along the Texas Gulf Coast. Known for producing a medium to full-bodied honey with both sweetness and a hint of pleasant bitterness, this varietal has long been appreciated by locals for its unique complexity. Walker Honey Farm, a fourth-generation Texas beekeeping family, hand-harvests and bottles this rare honey in Rogers, Texas, staying true to their “bee-to-bottle” philosophy. The result is an unfiltered, raw honey that captures both the wild character of Texas flora and the legacy of small-scale craft beekeeping.
